EMC PARTNER offers individual MIG generators intended for 1.2/50µs Insulation testers, up to 100kV, with a rise time less than 1µs and tail >1000µs.
For failure detection (breakdown, flashover) the peak output voltage and current of the MIG are
indicated on the front display and the two BNC allow (v,i) oscilloscope monitoring.
The test cabinet TC-MIG24 shall be placed on top of the MIG generators for
personal safety. The test cabinet is so designed that the cover can not be opened during the test.
For large EUT like racks the CN-MIG24 test pistol can be used.
The MIG family is the ideal voltage insulation tester with a broad application range (Watthourmeter, Counters, Protection circuits, Cables, Transformers, Bushings, Capacitors, Protection
switches, etc..)
